Most manual osteopathic treatments are gentle, slow and painless. In Canada, manual osteopaths do not use fast motions to crack body joints. We can achieve the same results of re-aligning the bones and joints without the need for any fast paced movements or audible cracking sounds.
This depends on the nature and severity of the issue. Patients will often see a small improvement after the first treatment, but the total treatment timeline is individual to your situation. Generally, issues that have persisted for months or years (chronic) take longer for the body to recover. Rushing this process faster than the body can handle usually causes a regression in the treatment process. That's why it's so important to start your treatment program right away.
This depends on your coverage, but most insurance companies will contribute towards helping you pay for the treatments. We can provide you with a paper and/or paperless receipt so you can submit it to your insurance company in whatever way is easiest for you.
